Mylin’s Angry Pancreas

This morning we drove before the sun was up to Orange County for our third round of IB STIM. It was good to hear our nurse practitioners take on all of our upcoming appointments in Ohio. She also mentioned that she could request a 5th round IB STIM. We’ve never been offered this before. She was really concerned about how bad Mylin‘s pain levels have been, and wanting to help as much as possible. However, with IB STIM, each treatment has to be done a week consecutive from the previous. Which makes us unable to do a fifth round because we will be in Ohio that Wednesday. Hoping the results kick in soon. Mylin has been near hospital pain again this week, definitely beyond what we could control at home. 

On a sidenote, we had a meeting with the college Accessibility Resource Center today. That went really well. The counselor was awesome, and very helpful. We will have good accommodations in place to try to ensure that Mylin never has to deal with a situation like we just went through with the previous professor.

So that’s our good news for today. We gotta take it where we can get it lol!
